Joint Stock Company Selenergoproekt, hereinafter referred to as JSC SEP, is an organization engaged in the design of individual structures at nuclear energy facilities and other industrial and civil energy facilities in the Russian Federation and abroad. JSC SEP hereby declares its Quality, Environmental, Health and Occupational Safety Policy, hereinafter referred to as the Policy. JSC SEP considers quality, environmental, health and occupational safety management as a set of measures implemented during the development of technical documentation for industrial facilities and nuclear energy facilities. Quality, environmental, health and occupational safety management is aligned with the specifics of the Organization’s activities and development.
The Policy establishes the basis for defining the main objectives of JSC SEP:
- Fulfillment of contractual obligations and requirements of applicable regulatory documents, taking into account advanced technologies and design experience, with unconditional priority given to nuclear, radiation, industrial, physical and fire safety, safe working conditions, and environmental protection.
- Compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2015 and GOST R ISO 19443-2020.
- Achievement of the quality level specified in the terms of reference and applicable regulatory documents, including the requirements of nuclear safety rules and standards.
- Use of accumulated experience.
- Continuous improvement of the quality management system.
Methods for Achieving the Objectives of JSC SEP:
- Organizational and financial support for the functioning of the quality management system.
- Periodic analysis of the functioning of the quality management system.
- Improvement of personnel qualifications.
- Certification of JSC SEP employees every 5 years.
- Development of information technologies.

- Creation by JSC SEP management of an environment that supports achievement of the required quality level.

Recognizing its responsibility for implementing the Policy, the management of JSC SEP undertakes to:
- Ensure the priority of nuclear safety over all other priorities in the activities of JSC SEP.
- Ensure that the Policy is communicated to all employees, and that its essence is explained and understood.
- Ensure that the Policy remains up to date and that any changes made to it are communicated to personnel and other interested parties.

Safety Culture Policy of Joint Stock Company Selenergoproekt
Joint Stock Company Selenergoproekt, hereinafter referred to as the Organization, defines the formation, maintenance and development of a safety culture as the fundamental basis for ensuring the safety of performed works.
The main principles for forming, maintaining and developing a safety culture in the Organization are:
- Principle of compliance: ensuring that the Organization’s activities comply with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements, and that every employee strictly follows safety rules and standards.
- Principle of safety priority: ensuring safety when making management decisions.
- Principle of leadership: demonstrating commitment to safety by managers at all levels, creating an atmosphere of openness and trust to foster an internal need among subordinate personnel for a positive attitude toward safety, and ensuring that every employee understands the impact of their activities on safety and the consequences that may result from failure to comply with established requirements.
