Architectural and Construction Department

  • Development of the architectural and civil engineering section of design and estimate documentation for energy facilities, including diesel power plants, gas engine power plants, gas turbine power plants, mobile gas turbine power plants, nuclear power plant safety systems, boiler houses, rapid-deployment units, and other facilities at all stages: pre-design, design, and working documentation.
  • Development of architectural planning, spatial, and structural solutions for buildings, structures, and their complexes.
  • Development of key technical solutions, design documentation, and working documentation for the following sections: Architectural and Civil Solutions, Steel Structures, and Reinforced Concrete Structures for the construction, reconstruction, and modernization of buildings and structures using computer-aided design tools.
  • Design of foundations and substructures for buildings, structures, and process equipment.
  • Execution of a full range of engineering calculations for building structures and foundations, both manually and using licensed specialized software, including SCAD, LIRA, and other tools.
  • Development of 3D building information modeling, BIM, for buildings and structures.
  • Preparation and approval of assignments for related design departments: Thermal Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, HVAC / Water Supply and Sewerage, and Automation.
  • Participation in project defense before expert review and supervisory authorities.
  • Designer supervision during construction.
  • Compliance with the regulatory framework, including SNiP, SP, GOST standards, technical regulations, and the requirements of Rostechnadzor, Rosatom, and customers.
  • Application of the quality management system.

Chief Project Engineers Department

  • Overall management and coordination of design works for the facility at all stages, from the pre-design stage to designer supervision and technical support.
  • Analysis of contractual obligations and preparation of the design work execution plan.
  • Collection, management, and control of the sufficiency, relevance, and availability of initial data for all design departments, including Architectural and Civil Engineering, Thermal Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Automation, HVAC / Water Supply and Sewerage, and Cost Estimation, as well as coordination of their interaction and schedule control.
  • Interaction with the customer, general designer, and contractors on all technical and organizational matters.
  • Quality control of the developed design and estimate documentation, including all verification and final control stages, and its approval.
  • Management of changes and risks during the implementation of design and estimate documentation.
  • Organization and management of the designer supervision team, including control over the elimination of possible non-conformities.
  • Responsibility for the completeness and compliance of the project with the contract, terms of reference, regulatory and technical documentation, and safe operation requirements.
  • Holding meetings with stakeholders.
  • Resolution of operational issues.
  • Providing management with reports on the progress of works under the contract.
  • Participation in improving the company’s quality management system.

Automation Department

  • Comprehensive design of integrated automation and fire extinguishing automation sections for energy facilities based on internal combustion engines, including diesel and gas engine units, gas turbines, as well as nuclear power facilities, including standby and unit diesel power plants, and oil and gas facilities, including auxiliary gas turbine power plants.
  • Development of design and working documentation for Integrated Automation and Fire Extinguishing Automation sections.
  • Development of initial data for automated control systems of energy facilities, including technical requirements for control systems, input and output signal lists, algorithm descriptions, and operator screen sketches.
  • Approval of terms of reference and design documentation for automated control systems.
  • Development of instrumentation sections and connection diagrams for automated control systems.
  • Development of fire alarm, fire extinguishing automation, and fire warning system sections.
  • Development and approval of technical specifications for equipment, participation in tenders, and evaluation of supplier proposals.
  • Designer supervision over installation and commissioning of automation equipment.

Cost Estimation Department

  • Development of the full set of cost estimate documentation for the construction, modernization, and reconstruction of energy facilities, including diesel power plants, gas turbine power plants, nuclear power plant safety systems, thermal power plants, hydropower plants, and other facilities at all design stages.
  • Preparation of key cost estimate documents:
    • Consolidated cost estimate.
    • Facility-level and local cost estimates.
    • Cost summary.
    • Explanatory note to the cost estimate documentation.
    • Cost estimates for specific types of expenses and commissioning works.
  • Determination of the estimated cost of construction, installation, repair, design and survey, and commissioning works.
  • Application of the current regulatory cost estimation framework, including federal and territorial unit rates, state elemental estimate norms, industry-specific collections, and calculations in base and current prices.
  • Analysis of market prices for materials and equipment, preparation of commercial proposals, and calculation of contract prices.
  • Defense of cost estimate documentation before expert review and supervisory authorities, and approval of costs with customers.
  • Designer supervision during construction in terms of monitoring compliance of performed works with cost estimate indicators.
  • Work in specialized software systems, including Grand-Smeta, Smeta.ru, and others, to automate calculations.
  • Participation in the company’s quality management system and professional development of specialists.

Thermal Mechanical Department

  • Comprehensive design of thermal mechanical systems for energy facilities based on internal combustion engines, including diesel and gas engine units, as well as gas turbine units, including nuclear power facilities, standby and unit diesel power plants, and oil and gas facilities, including auxiliary gas turbine power plants.
  • Development of basic and functional process diagrams:
    • Fuel supply and fuel storage system diagrams, including main, backup, and emergency fuel reserves.
    • Lubrication and oil system diagrams.
    • Starting system diagrams, including compressed air and electric drive systems.
    • Internal circuit cooling system diagrams, including radiator systems and two-circuit systems with dry cooling towers, as well as service water supply systems.
    • Compressed air system diagrams, including process air and utility air systems.
    • Exhaust system and waste heat recovery diagrams, including waste heat boilers.
  • Calculations and selection of main and auxiliary equipment:
    • Diesel generator and gas engine units.
    • Gas turbine units.
    • Fuel treatment and purification systems, including separators, filters, and heaters.
    • Pumping and compressor stations.
    • Heat exchange equipment, including air coolers, oil coolers, and heaters.
    • Storage and tank equipment, including fuel tanks, oil tanks, day tanks, and buffer tanks.
  • Execution of comprehensive engineering calculations, including thermal, hydraulic, aerodynamic, and strength calculations, as well as piping strength and seismic resistance calculations.
  • Development of the Process Solutions section of design and working documentation, including layout solutions for process rooms, equipment installation drawings, piping assembly drawings, and support structures.
  • Development and approval of equipment specifications, participation in tenders, and evaluation of supplier proposals.
  • Designer supervision over installation and commissioning of thermal mechanical equipment.

Fire Safety Department

  • Development of the Fire Extinguishing section of design and working documentation.
  • Design of fire extinguishing systems, including gas, powder, sprinkler, and water mist systems, for rooms of energy facilities, such as machine halls and electrical rooms, including nuclear power facilities, buildings located on nuclear power plant sites, and standby and unit diesel power plants.
  • Calculation of fire hazard categories for buildings, rooms, and outdoor installations.
  • Fire risk calculation.

Electrical Engineering Department

  • Design of external and internal power supply systems for energy facilities, including nuclear power plants, industrial facilities, and civil facilities, with power supply systems up to 110 kV.
  • Development of main electrical diagrams for power plants and substations, as well as auxiliary power supply diagrams for normal and emergency operation.
  • Calculation of electrical loads, short-circuit currents, power losses, and selection of electrical equipment:
    • Power transformers, generators, and synchronous compensators.
    • High- and low-voltage switchgear assemblies.
    • Circuit breakers, disconnectors, load-break switches, and fuses.
    • Power cables, bus ducts, and current conductors.
  • Design of integrated relay protection, automation, and electrical automation systems:
    • Protection of generators, transformers, power transmission lines, and electric motors.
    • Automatic transfer switching and automatic underfrequency load shedding.
    • Emergency control automation for nuclear power plant units.
  • Design of guaranteed and emergency power supply systems:
    • Layout and power supply design for diesel generator units and uninterruptible power supply systems.
    • Design of battery charging and operation systems.
  • Design of grounding, lightning protection, and equipotential bonding systems.
  • Design of outdoor and indoor lighting, including working, emergency, evacuation, and security lighting.
  • Calculation and design of cable and overhead power transmission lines, cable racks, tunnels, and ducts.

HVAC, Water Supply and Sewerage Department

  • Design of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for main production facilities, auxiliary buildings, administrative and amenity buildings at power plant sites and infrastructure facilities.
  • Design of internal domestic drinking water, industrial water, and fire water supply systems.
  • Design of internal domestic, industrial, and stormwater sewerage systems.
  • Calculation of heat loads, air exchange, water consumption, and wastewater disposal.
  • Selection of equipment, including heating devices, ventilation units, air conditioners, pumping stations, water heaters, and local treatment facilities.
  • Development of axonometric diagrams of engineering systems.
  • Development of design and working documentation sections for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, and Water Supply and Sewerage.
